Graduate students from all disciplines and universities are invited to enjoy free drinks and food and socialize with other grad students at the Henry.
You can learn how to use the museum's galleries and collection in your research and teaching or simply experience our current exhibition
Ann Hamilton: the common S E N S E. Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to go on an ArtBreak, make art in the Education Lounge, and enter to win great prizes in our raffle!
To reiterate: free food and drink and art experiences with your grad school peers in a fun museum environment. See you on the 16th!
During the Happy Hour, you can attend ArtBreaks hosted by:
Chelsea Jennings, who received a PhD in English from the UW last June and currently teaches in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at UW Bothell
Amanda C. Sweet, UW MFA 2015 Candidate in Painting + Drawing and her MFA P+D team: Christie DeNizio, Ben Dunn, Sarah Norsworthy, and Krista Schoening, as they lead a collaborative Visual Commonplace Bookmaking project in conjunction with the common S E N S E
Paul Martinez, a first-year Museology graduate student interested in museum education and will show you how to create a great solo in-gallery experience
We will also have a photo booth and accessory station!
